Yes, yes. I know. I missed my 2 day window for blogging about Lost. Well... I've been busy. Yeah, that's it... That's the ticket! (ahem, sorry, I also watched the SNL 80's show the other night and I'm having a flashback.)
Lost continues to amaze. They took 65 minutes and told the story of the Tailies' time on the island as compared to 25 episodes in the first season and 9 this season for the Lostaways we all know and love.... Excellent episode in my opinion.
Here's my observations...
1) When I saw Goodwin walk out of the woods, I called him as a plant... and then I doubted myself... and then I didn't. Don't you just love how they play with your emotions.
2) The crash was cool, but didn't the tail section seem a little far out into the water? And the seat into the camera to change shots was good.
3) Some people have been asking if Libby is a plant too, but I think that Cindy was the plant. The way she suddenly disappeared during "Abandoned" creeped me out.
4) I don't think that some people caught that Mr. Eko killed the others because they were trying to take him with the first three that were taken... and ....
5) What's up with the, "They were good. Those left behind were not." What was good and how did the Others know how to judge?
6) Interesting Ed connection. If you didn't watch the show you might now pick up that Julie Bowen, who plays Jack's ex-wife, and Josh Randall, who played Nathan, both were stars on Ed when it aired on NBC. Julie was Ed's Girlfriend and Josh was his Doctor friend.
7) The only part I didn't like was how it seemed to move way to quickly at the end of the episode. The least they could have done for the Tailies was to give them an extra hour to get their story told.
Wednesday's episode is titled What Kate Did! This is something we have wondered about since the second episode of the first season so of course they won't tell us everything we really need to know. Ah, well, that's the nature of the show.
I'll try to get my blog up on Thursday or Friday if I have a chance..
Talk at you later...
