The Republicans pull an LBJ out of their hat....

What's an LBJ you ask? That's a reference to the infamous "Daisy" ad that was ran in 1964 by then President Lyndon Baines Johnson against Barry Goldwater and invoked the images of a nuclear detonation going off behind a little girl sitting in the middle of a field of daisies.

This time though, the Republicans are implying that if you vote for a Democrat then we will all go up in flames as al Qaeda will most surely attack us. Of course only they can protect us from the carnage and villainy that will befall the US of A should the House and Senate fall into those accursed Liberals' hands.

The GOP get called on the carpet this time by the organization FactCheck.org an independent watchdog group that is an equal opportunity offender that keeps and eye out on all the craziness that surrounds the political airs during, and not during, the election seasons. They cover the disgraceful ad here if you are interested in reading what the have to say about it. Check out FactCheck no matter what side of the political spectrum you fall into. They are non-biased and do a really good job of straightening out the facts from the fiction on both sides.
