Been a bit busy and I was really tired when I watched Lost last night so I've got nothing to say about the ep yet except... Michael... They're ALL on to you!
I was very busy last night getting the CAT5 wiring in my house ready for my Broadband connection. Since we live out in the sticks, getting a decent Broadband that 1) Didn't cost an arm and a leg (the gas companies have already mortgaged those appendages) and 2) Didn't have the lag and rain fade of Satellite has been a challenge.
A Springburg company, Total Wireless, has been providing wireless broadband access to Springfield, Nixa, and Republic for over a year and has just moved into the Jamestown and Clever areas. System is really interesting. If you are within 2-3 miles of the transmit tower, you only need a small antenna on your roof to get a signal. Further than that, a parabolic dish focuses the signal for access which is what we have had to do. They have been able to get a signal as far as 15 miles from the transmit antenna so if you are looking for access and live in an area that the phone companies seem to have forgotten exists... Check them out. Rates seem to be reasonable for the bandwidth. I will give an update on how it goes next week.
