At the last Springfield Bloggers Meeting, I had some questions about what I use to compose my Blog entries. From the my post last week about my Firefox Extensions, I listed that I use Performancing for Firefox as my editor of choice since it is not a separate program and it embeds itself into Firefox. My one big complaint was that it did not have an integrated spell check program.
Well, now the creators have listed a way to add spell checking to the app using the open-source SpellBound extension and its related dictionaries and it WORKS! If you are interested in the Performancing blog tool, the instructions are on their site under the information about the new 1.2 version release.
This is now my editor of choice. And it works with Blogger, Wordpress, Typepad, and most other blogging systems.
