Blogging Lost... Its Two, Two, Two Eps in One!

I know this is (1) Really Late and (2) REALLY, REALLY late. Lost is off the air for 6 weeks so I figure that I have time to spare.

Man, where to start? Oh, yeah... Ana Lucia

Collision
Ana is one screwed up chick (and I never use that term)! Here's what I caught...

1) Ana was pregnant and lost her baby when shot during an incident. In the end she wouldn't finger the guy in a line-up and, as guessed, later shot him.... not once, but two, three, ....... many times. Guess she had to work that one out.

2) Ana wanted to go back to work on the streets... I suppose to find the shooter... and her shrink and Captain (her mother) finally agreed. Her partner, Big Mike (no last name yet), seemed to have reservations about her being back.... I think the desk job would have been a better choice.

3) And speaking of riding with her partner Big Mike, a possible connection through actors happened when they went to the domestic disturbance. The actor playing the husband also played a character with the same name in another episode from the first season... can't remember at this point. I will update when I find it.

And not on to... What Kate Did!

1) Kate's a bad girl. The writers made her much less sympathetic in this episode being that she blew up her "DAD"... or is that step-dad.... or is that "father"?

2) Screwed up parents again. Mom cheats and get's knocked up by "pseudo-step-dad" and then after getting beat and hurt turns her daughter in for the reward money... as well as the insurance money I'm sure. "Wanna-be" Dad is a military man who knew all along Kate wasn't the fruit of his loins, but went along anyway and then left when Kate was six.... and then turns her in after giving her an hour head start (we think) after telling her that he, "sees a lot of Murder in her eyes".

3) I still get the feeling that there is something else going on in this whole story.

4) Kate's really just angry that she's the spawn of Wayne
("pseudo-step-dad")'s loins and not "Wanna-be" dad's military life. She has feelings for Sawyer but see's Wayne in everything he does and hates him for it. Her weird mental state makes her think that Sawyer is channeling Wayne and makes her flip out even more which leads to ....

5) The KISS. Jack finds Sawyer lying on the floor of the Bunker and goes to find Kate. Out in the middle of the jungle she sits looking like someone from a mental hospital (Hurley anyone?) and when he snaps her out of her trip down bad-memory lane, she argues, hits, and then lays a big fat one on the good doctor. Which he seems to enjoy returning in kind..... Great scene and it sets up a LOT for later on.

6) What the hell is the deal with the Black Horse? Whatever it is... it sets up the best line of the night... Sawyer: "We're rescued, right?.... Damn!" then Sawyer's eyes are about ready to fall out... Kate: "What??? Do you see that?" Sawyer: "Do you mean the big damn black horse? Yeah, I see it."

7) Second best line?
I loved the commentary at the end of the episode where Jack says to AL that he'll stop trying to convince her that not everybody hates her if she'll stop trying to convince him that not every woman is CRAZY.... Loved it!

8) More of the movie was revealed.... Do not use the system to communicate.... Uhhh.. Somebody should have told Walt and Michael that!

More info as I get it.....
