One of my least favorite (that's being really overly nice, just as Larry my opinion) TV personalities says that it is A-OK for Terrorists, like al-Qaida, to target San Francisco and, "if al-Qaida comes in here and blows you up, we're not going to do anything about it. We're going to say, look, every other place in America is off limits to you, except San Francisco. You want to blow up the Coit Tower? Go ahead."
Yep, go ahead, blow up an American city. I don't care!
What got Bill so riled up? That small insignificant part of the No Child Left Behind Act that says schools and colleges will lose their Federal funding if they refuse to give school records to Military Recruiters... You know about that part of the law don't you? Seems that a lot of people don't and when San Fran folks found out... They passed a ballot measure that urged local high schools and colleges to bar military recruiters from their campuses. It passed with 60 percent of San Franciscans in favor of it.
Great sense of local control there Bill. And next time there's a Democrat in office, will it be OK if we point the terrorists toward your Broadcast Booth because you disagree with the Administration?
