Finally got to see Lost and although I found the episode well done, not a lot of island plot was delivered. Here are my observations...
-- Watching Jin and Sun just miss each other was kinda funny. I found the most interesting part the fact that the class system in Korea is worse than here (sometimes).
-- Funniest scene for the night again included Hurley, but wasn't a Hurley moment. I laughed hard and rewatched three times to see Sun's facial expression when she answered Hurley's question about the Good or Bad Korea. Great scene!
-- Why do the pretty girls always go for the a$$ho1e? Kate didn't actually say it but when Sun asked he if she was looking for Sawyer's note, the look said a lot.
-- The ocatgon on the wall in the "tailies" bunker was crystal clear this time. It is a spike or sword vertical in the white circle. Lots of talk on The Fuselage about these symbols.
-- My biggest question of the night is the untranslated Korean in the ep. Last season someone on The Fuselage went through the trouble of translating signs and speech that were not directly on the screen. Haven't seen anything like this yet, so I'm curious what all those signs said, especially the one hanging on the bridge at the end of the ep.
-- I was really beginning to (I'll say it) Hate the Anna Lucia character, but now that she got a little "smack" from Mr. Eko when he left her and the others to go with Jin, I'm much happier. Still don't really like her, but we all have our burdens.
-- And finally, what was up with the Teddy Bear???? My only guess is that this is Danielle's kid that was taken 16 years ago. Only a guess.
Good episode really in that it was one of those "warm fuzzy" shows that differs from the "laugh riot" that is typically a Hurley ep and the "action" eps for the others.
Now for the bad news... 3 weeks before we get a new episode. Maybe now I can get the TiVo down to less than 28 hours stored!?!?!
