One of these days I will get this posting thing right....Until then here's some more observations....
Why is it that the party in power seems to implode on themselves? And while imploding, why does that party cry, "Oh woe is us. We are being targeted by the other side!"????
I was reminded the other day, while listening to Tom DeLay, of the redicule that Hillary Clinton suffered with her statement about the "vast right-wing conspiracy". The echos of that statement rang in my ears when Mr. DeLay said that the prosecutor in his case was only doing this due to politics. Ahem..... Sir, and I use that term loosely, the law is above no one. Shut up and take your knocks. Karma is a great thing, and yours has been looking for a time to circle around and bite you in the ass for a LONG time. LIVE WITH IT!
And if convicted, may your cell mate have a little of the mercy you showed no one during your tenure...
On to happier things...
One the homefront, Soccer is great fun! The wife and I are alive to tell the tale of being coaches. We are 2 and 2 and should be 3 and 1, but we lost a lot of steam the first game in the 87 degree heat at 10:00 in the morning.... Oh well, the kids are having fun.
